I am currently a GIS Technician for Poggemeyer Design Group in Bowling Green, Ohio. Previously I was a GIS Planning Aide for the City of Grand Rapids, Michigan, a Planning Intern for the City of Brunswick, Ohio and a Research Assistant at Kent State. I graduated from Penn State in May, 2015, with a B.S. in Geography (GIS option) and minors in Architecture and EBF (Energy, Business, and Finance). While at Penn State I was a member of SEED (Students for Environmentally Enlightened Design) and THON, a yearlong fundraising and awareness campaign in the fight against pediatric cancer and the largest student run philanthropy in the world. The summer before I graduated I served as a Transit Oriented Development Intern for AMATS, the Akron Metropolitan Area Transportation Study. During my time at Penn State I was also a Public Relations Intern for the Geography Department.
In high school I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout and was a member of the Hudson High School Swing Marching Band, a prestigious group that has performed at NFL and college games.
In addition I was a member of National Honor Society and Key Club, serving as Secretary my senior year. Due to my performance on the PSAT, I was awarded the honor of National Merit Commended Scholar.
